Mrs. Tahnia Sampaio has been teaching since 2011. She holds an Elementary Education degree as well as a Sociology degree from Worcester State University. Mrs. Sampaio has experience in Pre-K through second grade, and she is passionate about working with children, helping them build their strengths, and developing their individual learning styles. Tahnia takes pride in working with students who benefit from additional support and guidance. She loves the opportunity to touch children’s lives and make a positive impact on their future. Her ultimate goal as a teacher is to complete her Master’s Degree in Special Education.
Prior to coming to MCA, Miss Lewis had experience with children ages 3 months to 6 years old since 2013 as both an assistant and lead teacher at a childcare center. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Spanish obtained from Framingham State University. Miss Lewis attends Connect Church and is a vocal worship leader at the Framingham campus. Teaching children for the glory of God is her main focus while in the classroom. She loves to feel like she’s making a difference in children’s lives. She is grateful to be a part of the staff at the school she attended as a kindergarten and elementary student.
Mrs. Kelly Belucio has been working at MCA since 2013 as our K5 assistant. Her passion is to partner with parents and to help students learn, improve, love, and respect others. Kindergarten is an important experience for a child so she makes sure her classroom is a safe, comfortable place where each child can learn. She makes it her goal to teach each student everything he or she needs to know in order to be ready for the next grade level. “Everything is in My Job Description” is one of our faculty core values that Kelly takes to heart every day.Ext. 1307
Mrs. Cinthya Monteiro has been working with children since her early teens and has been leading her church’s youth group along with her husband for many years. She graduated at the top of her class from Mass Bay Community College with an Elementary Education degree. She will continue her education by pursuing a degree in Theology and ultimately a Master’s degree. Mrs. Monteiro firmly believes a Christian education builds academic potential, while creating a strong character that will last a lifetime. She is committed to providing a Christian education to all three of her own children. She loves making a difference in children’s lives just as so many wonderful teachers have made a difference in her own life.
Miss Marjory Ramos has been working with children since she was a teenager. She loves teaching and makes learning a fun experience. Marjory loves the Lord, enjoys helping children grow in Christ, and strives to teach her students about Him at all times. Miss Ramos began her career at MCA as a substitute teacher and then became a kindergarten assistant. From there she moved on as a K4 co-teacher, and then onto first grade. In addition to being in the classroom, she also produces and directs our annual Christmas musical. She loves touching the lives of her students and helping them be successful.
Mrs. Yolanda Gonzalez has taught elementary and middle school students since 1990. She is a graduate of the Pontifical University of Puerto Rico and has completed several courses at Bridgewater State College. In addition to her regular teaching certification, Mrs. Gonzalez is certified as a Bilingual Teacher in Massachusetts. Mrs. Gonzalez subscribes to the practice of creating a secure, nurturing, motivating and inviting environment for her students and their families.
Mrs. Juliana Marques earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human and Family Services from Southwestern Christian University. Not only did she find it beneficial to pursue a Christian education for herself, but she also believes it is of utmost importance to do the same for her child . She is actively involved in the children’s ministry department in her church and has passionately been working with children since her teenage years. She will be furthering her education in guidance counseling in the near future. Her goal is to help students succeed academically and spiritually.
Mrs. Rebecca Xavier grew up in Barre, Vermont where she attended Christian school. Mrs. Xavier earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Clearwater Christian College in Florida. She loves teaching and is especially passionate about Christian education. She taught 4th grade followed by a combination class of 5th and 6th grade over an 11 year period at a Christian school in Lunenburg, MA. Mrs. Xavier and her husband have three daughters.
Wilkes Poteete is our physical education teacher and also the Facilities Manager of MetroWest Ministries. As a competitive athlete in CrossFit, his passion for health and fitness comes through in all he does which he wants to pass on to our MCA students. He also volunteers in the children’s ministry of Connect Church which has helped prepare he and his wife for raising their new family. Because Coach Wilkes is so fun, the boys and girls really enjoy their weekly gym class.
